What the scan shows

Follicle count, lining and ovaries checked to help you plan the next steps. Your sonographer talks you through the images as they go, and you'll leave with a written report and printed images.

How to prepare

  • Arrive five minutes early to complete a short form
  • Wear comfortable, two-piece clothing
  • Follow any bladder or fasting instructions in your confirmation email

What happens next

If we see anything that needs follow-up, we'll explain it clearly and, with your permission, write to your GP the same day. Most people leave with peace of mind and nothing further to do.
